Wirtschaftsweiber e.V.-the voice for lesbian and queer women in the world of work

We are a nationwide network that offers contacts for lesbian and women-specific issues in the world of work and society.

As an association, we are committed to lesbian visibility and equality.

We offer a safe space for lesbian and queer women to exchange experiences and supporting each other in developing our full potential in professional careers.

ColognePride

Organiser of one of the largest Pride events in Europe. The two-week Cologne Pride festival with 90 queer political events is rounded off by the CSD street festival with 4 stages in Cologne city centre and the huge CSD demonstration on Sunday. Always under the motto: FOR HUMAN RIGHTS - Many. Together. Strong!

Queerhandicap

The queerhandicap e.V. brings together groups, associations, initiatives, projects and individuals who represent and support queer people with visible and non-visible disabilities, impairments and chronic illnesses. They work together in the queerhandicap e.V. association with the aim of jointly advocating

- for equality, self-determination and full participation in society

- and against any discrimination

of people with visible and non-visible disabilities, impairments, chronic illnesses, different sexual and romantic orientations and gender identities.

Queermentor

Queermentor is a non-profit organisation that supports people from the LGBTQIA+ community in their professional and personal development through 1:1 mentoring free of charge. Through regular training, workshops and hybrid networking formats, Queermentor creates an inclusive and safe space for its members to exchange ideas, network and empower themselves.

SCHLAU Köln

The volunteer teamers at SCHLAU Köln e.V. offer educational and anti-discrimination workshops on sexual, gender and romantic diversity for schools, sports clubs and youth centres. At the centre of SCHLAU's work are encounters and discussions between young people and our queer teamers with the aim of reducing discrimination and prejudice.

SOFRA - Queer Migrants

SOFRA - Queer Migrants e.V." supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, intersex and queer people with a history of flight and migration. It is the first LGBTIQ+ organisation in North Rhine-Westphalia Germany to provide a safe and empowering space for queer refugees and migrants and creates SAFER spaces for them.

Völklinger Kreis

The Völklinger Kreis is the network of gay executives and self-employed people. As a professional association, we promote the professional success of our members - in particular through networking and exchanging experiences. We are committed to a non-discriminatory working and living environment for gay executives. And we are committed to holistic diversity management in business, administration and organisations. We support talented gay people in planning and shaping their own professional careers as part of our Future Leaders programme.

SC Janus

sports - community - chosen family: with commitment and passion for "more than sports".

SC Janus e.V. - founded in 1980 - is the largest queer sports club in Europe with over 1,800 members and offers a non-discriminatory space to let off steam seven days a week with over 90 sports programmes from more than 45 sports, as well as raising awareness of anti-discrimination issues and promoting equality.

rubicon.

rubicon e. V. offers counselling, health promotion and support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter* and queer people and groups. Almost 30 employees work in the rubicon team on issues of gender and sexual diversity.

Aidshilfe Köln e.V

Aidshilfe Köln e.V. has been supporting people with and without HIV/Aids since 1985. We stand for prevention, professional competence and confidential, fast and flexible support. We are also committed to reducing prejudice and discrimination. We are committed to working together without prejudice. With 40 permanent employees, 200 volunteers and an annual budget of 2.1 million euros, Aidshilfe Köln is one of the largest private providers of sexual health services in Cologne.
